There are so many techniques being used right now to get new customers using social media that it’s hard to find a place to start. Since Instagram is the the most popular site among the trendy crowd right now I’ll start there but these will work with any established social media platform.
Step 1: Follow popular the people. Social influencers in your niche can make a huge difference in how many people follow you, especially if they decide to follow you back.
Step 2: Engage in the posts of social influencers. This is best way to get them to follow you back and to entice people to check out your page. Whatever you do, don’t push your personal agenda on someone else’s time line. that is the quickest way to rub people the wrong way. Stick to the topic and try to be unique.
Step 3: Fully develop your online persona. Flesh out your page. Make it personal. Add flattering photos of yourself, your product, customers and your location. You want people to get a feel for who you are and what you represent. Make sure you add links to your website so you can collect those emails.
Step 4: Post at least three times per week. The more you post the more bait you throw out the more chances you have to catch a customer. Never ever, ever post spam to your page or anyone elses. I consider spam trying to sell without offering any value. A picture of you holding a product will be much received than just a product picture with a link.
